One of the most impressive structures in Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent, is the towering TV tower. However, it is hard to take a photograph of this without it looking like a lonely needle stuck in the middle of the frame, so I drove around the area looking for something to provide some foreground interest. I found this park just off one of the main roads with this interesting Islamic looking dome structure, but even then the picture didn’t look balanced with the tower on one side. Then I spotted a tree in blossom, so I took this shot from a position which enabled me to frame the two structures with the tree on the other side to provide some balance (that wasn’t as easy as it looked as there as a fence in the way and I had to engage in some contortions to achieve this POV). As this was taken at twilight, I illuminated the tree with flash as it was too dark without it.
PP: Used the PS transform/perspective tool to correct a lean on the tower (due to this being taken with a wide angle lens), cropped, minor adjustments to levels, contrast and saturation, filtered with NeatImage to remove noise, then USM.

David, the picture works fine. Actually I find myself drawn to the Islamic dome structure, which I'll bet is a water tower. It is by far the most interesting thing in the picture. I would have sworn that was frost on the tree. If you have a separate pic of the transmission tower it would be great to see; You've managed to capture these so well. Thanks.

Well composed shot with good clarity and sharpness. The evening sky still provide sufficient lighting to enhanced the image.
To my opinion, you should included the tree instead just the twigs and leaves, which simply hanged from nowhere, isn't it.
At least it created the framing to the TV Tower.
Well done, David and thanks for sharing.
