Photographer’s Note
This statue of grieving mother is situated on the Memory Square, adjacent to the Independence Square. Square was built 10 years ago (during 1998 & 1999) as a monument to victims of World War II. An eternal flame is situated in front of the statue and on the sides there are books with names of all the Uzbeks died in the war.
