Photographer’s Note

If you have read the notes on my picture "Who is looking at whom?" you will know I have visited Tashkent Zoo. One comment was that I thought the visitors were allowed far too close to the animals. This picture was taken with my standard 18-55mm lens at full wide angle (18mm). The shot was taken through the bars of the enclosure. As you can see I was very close to this eagle, I think he wanted my fingers just a little closer. Unfortunately some of the other visitors thought it good sport to prod and poke the birds who were roosting close to the enclosure bars. Like I said, there should be a greater separation, for the sake of the animals.
