Photographer’s Note
Since there are not so many pictures of local dishes on TE, I decided to show you some of the tasty oriental dishes we have had the pleasure to enjoy in Uzbekistan. This is the first one and the most famous in the world: Pilau. It is sometimes called simply 'osh' in Uzbekistan, meaning: the meal. It's ingredients vary from region to region. It is always prepared with rice and mutton. It often contains carrots and raisins or barberries. And of course various spices, f.e. cummin.

mmm :)
Me encantan.
