Another shot from my series of the National Library of Turkmenistan. Pictured here: the main reading room. The building is exceptionally elegant, with white leather seating, lots of natural light, deep carpets, bright wooden furniture, elegant artificial lights and so on.
In the main reading room a small monument of the Ruhnama keeps rotating. And a copy of the Ruhnama is reserved for every seat.
Technical: As for the other pictures taken in the National Library: The picture is very noisy. But again, taking pictures in there was extremely difficult so I could impossibly use the flash. Therefore I had to choose a high ISO, increasing noise but allowing for what I think is a picture interesting enough to make the noise acceptable. There really weren't any options. ISO: 800, exposure time: 1/15sec.
