Photographer's Note

This Stupa Pagoda (Golden Chedi) contains the Buddha relics. It is 24 m high and 12 m across at its base. The temple complex of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Rajvoravihara stands at an elevation of ~1045 m on the south-east slopes of Mount Suthep (Doi Suthep), one of Thailand’s highest peaks (alt: ~1679 m).

Distance to the summit of Mount Suthep: ~4.76 km.
Distance to the centre of Chiang Mai City (Wat Chedi Luang): ~7.14 km.

Every temple with a name starting with Wat Pra That (Wat Prathat) contains Buddha relics.
