| MY FIRST TIME IN KANCHANABURI AND STANDING ON THE FAMOUS DEATH BRIDGE AND THIS TRAIN APPEARS FROM NOWHERE!! QUITE A SIGHT REALLY AS IT IS SUCH A NARROW BRIDGE THAT YOU REALLY HAVE TO JUMP INTO ONE OF THOSE PLATFORMS AND GET OUT OF THE WAY,LOTS OF HISTORY IN THIS TOWN AND THE WAR MEMORIAL IS VERY EMOTIONAL FOR ANYONE TO VISIT, READING THE GRAVESTONES THERE WHERE ALL THOSE YOUNG MEN DIED IS VERY SADDENING, AND TO THINK IS WASN'T THAT LONG AGO. |

Hi, Andrew, a very intresting scene. I'm glad you had the presence of mind to take a shot before jumping off the tracks. Sounds as though you were caught by surprise. The slight tilt evokes that dynamism and movement, and the foreshortening caused by your long lens adds a sense of drama. I just did a quick workshop to add some contrast and sharpen a bit. Best, -Hugh
