Near our beach hut, I saw this little boy walking along the trail very haphazardly and without any sort of destination. It was a lovely winters day and the young boy was simply enjoying what life had to offer.
I enjoyed this trip immensely, however it was quite sobering at times to see how their lives have been completely altered to cater to European and Western cultures. If you get a chance to visit Thailand, specifically Koh Samui I would highly suggest that you rent a scooter and venture outside the tourist strip.
