Off Phuket... In Paradise... Photo

Photographer’s Note

Just a short drive away from the busy, noisy, crowded and over developed (but beautiful) Phuket stands Phang Nga.

Phang Nga is famous for its Bay on the "Golf of Thailand" Side. The "Andaman Sea" side of Phang Nga is less visited but features amazing strand of white sand beach and turquoise sea. It is still relatively undeveloped with a few resorts only until "Khao Lak" a few kilometers further away.

Local Villages, Natural Parks and scenic roads do add to the charm of this area...

Alone on the beach, at the edge of a romantic resort, hiding at the shadow of the umbrella, a source of pure relaxation and evasion...

Bonjour Vincent,
La vue est idyllique (sauf peut-être le drapeau jaune) et je serais ravie de pouvoir m'installer dans un de ces transats, prendre la boisson que je devine sur la table, et profiter de cette magnifique eau verte et bleue!
C'est agréable, rien que d'y penser! Merci pour le partage!

Vincent, c'est une belle photo parce que très simple et les couleurs sont superbes. L'horizon penche un peu, aussi j'ai tenté un WS pour y remédier. Il reste une excellente réalisation avec le parasol et les sièges et, pour faire pendant, le fanion. La mer et le sable sont très bien rendus.

first of all congratulations on getting your hands on a D300, I'll be interested to hear your reactions:)
secondly what a perfect picture postcard, it looks so inviting.
I may have taken the umbrella even a little further left of the frame.
