Photographer’s Note
This was one of my first shots for 2008, taken near Kaeng Krachan Dam, in Petchaburi, Thailand.
This was a very tranquil scene. The cows and egret all happy together. I was unable to get a shot of the head of the brown cow. The egret flew away shortly after. Then the brown cow stood up and both animals just stood there motionless for ages, with heads close together and facing into the sunrise, with their backs to me.
