Photographer’s Note
A little break from Bali Indonesia and back to Bangkok.
The Railway Station of Bangkok is a nice place to look around people coming and going.
The 4 times I've been in Bangkok I allways went to this place just for looking and taking some shots.
Here I saw the group of young sodiers. For sure the outcome with the motion blur of the guys on the left wasn't planed, but I like the result.
addition: Kevin and Ben corrected that these guys are not in the army, they are sailors. So I changed my title from "you're in the army now" to "hello sailors" (Ben's advice). I still wonder if they are sailors aren't they sailors of the Thai army?

Well they are sailors, Nino. I can't read the name of their ship. It is a nice group and very typical of the scenes of Hua Lampong.I like the relationship between the three sharp ones; as though they are deciding what to do next. The motion blur on the two who seem to have decided already, is very nice. regards Kevin

Hi Nino, nice catch, the blurry silhouettes are great, that's cool to have those 3 guys isolated in the frame...

You should have called this "Hello sailor", because they're clearly not in the army, now or at any other time!
I like the contrast between stillness and movement that you captured here, and the image has a good balance to it as well, although I'd have preferred it if you could have either included the feet of the guys on the right or framed higher to exclude them altogether.
Cheers,
Ben

Hello Nino, a cool shot made all the more dynamic and different y the motion blur on the left - sailors on the move! Stations and soldiers the world over, going on leave, coming back from leave, or heading to the South, eh, where monks fear for their lives and soldiers have to carry guns to school... Strange times we live in, Thailand and its military dictatorship no exception.
Best wishes,
Francis

Hallo Nino.

Hi Nino
A superb juxtapositioning of the sharply defined sailor at right & the motion blurred seamen at left. Good colour & contrast. Tfs!

That's a good break. Moves and mood are OK here and the realization is well managed. Good tones too.
