Photographer’s Note

It happened sometime...to find a small box full of slides...
And it happened that for business some days later you must go to a big photo laboratory and they have a fantastic reversal film scanner...

For many years i took images...in a easy way, not more, 'cause it was an expansive hobby when i was young and before the digital era, and without any idea about exposure, light, shadows, composition. TE changed all that in me!
...and before sometime happened that i bought 4 camera films in Thailand or Costa Rica or Hong Kong...and the seller at the shop gave me 3 boxs of normal pictures and 1 of slides...and just when i was back in Milan i found that wonderful surprise...

So, i have some thousands of slides closed in small boxs, closed somewhere...some in Milan, some in the house on the Alps, some were rested at parents' home...

This is a view of Koh Nang Yuan, a 3 islands group linked by 2 sand tongues.
The image was took from the North-Western coast of Koh Tao.
The slide was cleaned and the original colours are re-born.

I wish I could have my slides in this condition. Unfortunately, they are not and I think there is not much I can do. Anyway, we are not here to talk about my slides. I do love sunsets and let me know that this one struck me as soon as I saw the thumbnail. Very beautiful colours and a wonderful blue sky. Well done.

It seems that on the other side of our planet even the sunset look different. I have never seen before such an orange-blue sunset before …. :-)
I like your creative variation of the natural colours. Very expressive and vivid! The place you captured looks of course great too. I wish I had spent my holiday there.

I've said to you before what a wonderful collection of sunsets/rises you have. I was wondering if you would eventually run out of them. It seems there may be lots more to discover in your new find. The colours in this one are beautiful; such a strong blue, while the sun is so low in the sky. You knew about the rules of thirds back then too.

What a great surprise !
I really like those brightly saturated, smooth colours in the sky. The contrast well with the ripply water. Well composed with the island to the right and the sun so low on the horizon.

perfecto escaneado de la diapositiva, yo me he comprado ahora un escaner para hacer eso con las mías, porque tengo un buen archivo.
