| This whole village of Myanmar refugees was very interesting, and the long-necked women very friendly and more than happy to pose for photos, but I won't say I came across the place trekking for weeks through wild jungle..They charge around 10 USD to see the village, and you simply book a day trip out of Chiang Mai. I know that some people will probably discard this as a too "touristy" and "package-tour-style" but, honestly, as long as the villagers feel ok about it, I don't care. |

A great portrait. I missed this when I went to Chang Mai and now I wish I could have went there. This has good color and such a sweet little girl. TFS
You found a great little model, the expression is very cute, maybe the fact that she is right in the middle is not the best in terms of composition but I guess that you did not want to miss the occasion... Lovely little girl ! Never saw this group of people although I returned many times in Thailand and worked there for 7 months - paying to see them : a strange system, I hope that the money benefits them and is wisely used !
