The Little Ones Photo

Photographer’s Note

Before I leave for Laos, I am posting another picture that I took in Nan, Thailand.

The little ones...

They will carry the weight of the world in the days to come.
They are the hopes of tomorrow.
They are the inspiration of today.

Looking at the picture now, I couldn't help but smile looking at the little ones. They have these innocent and pure happiness in their eyes. They look vulnerable yet resilient( accdg. to Curtis). The rolled sack on top of them sort of crushed them down but they still have that infectious grin.

The world will be a better place. I really hope so.

Oh, it's such a lovely shot, Manny. I'm visiting with my parents for the weekend and this is the first photo I see after plugging in my laptop. It doesn't get any better than this, I guess. Adorable expressions and posing, infectious smiles indeed, and a fine b&w presentation. Well done.

Have a good and safe trip. I'm sure it will again yield a lot of great photos.

Very interesting shot here, I like the dirt on them , it is very sad, but the faces show that no matter how poor one is, a smile is all it takes to get back on a happy trail

i like the way you constructed this shot manny! going downwards to the right of the frame starting with the biggest kid and continuing down towards the smallest ones... they all indeed have this marvelous and infectious grin...bravo!

Manuel, tu nous offres encore une superbe photo. L'expression des visages, les sourires, les regards des enfants me donnent beaucoup d'émotions. ici la composition est réellement bien faite avec la toile roulée dans le prolongement du bras qui nous amène vers le petit. un très beau portrait de groupe. bravo

Great photo Manny, detailed, texture a-plenty and super expressions. B+W perfect for this. Any details on the post processing? You are obviously a long way into the learning curve!!
