Photographer’s Note
A couple of participants from the Phi Ta Khon festival which took place over the weekend in the Loei Province of Thailand. Lots of fun!
HDR used in post-processing.

Hi Bob,
I was meaning to come and comment after you left me your thoughts a few weeks ago.
I went through quite a few of your images...I like many of them. This is one of those..typically, it has gone un-noticed by the community.
Its a strange post-processing treatment you have given here, but I like it somehow. Like a painting. What is HDR?
What I am a little bothered by, is that I feel as though I am missing out on the background scenery. I noticed this in a few of your other pictures, which if nothing else gets in the way...I will go and comment on next.
I also went and took a look at your website, which I like very much. Seeing that, I guess I can be quiet, because you clearly know how to take a good picture. However, I thought that some were excellent and some are just, well..ok. I hope you don't mind my honesty. I love the one from the Bomfest...of the pregnant woman smoking. Anyhow, I'll go and comment on the others that caught my eye now...
