Photographer’s Note
The famous 'Reclining Buddha' from Wat Pho in Krung Thep (Bangkok); few people seem to realise that this is a depiction of the last moments of Buddha's life.
Taken using a Vivitar V335 with a 28-70mm wide-angle lens and Fuji film. No flash or tripod used, no post processing: this is the raw image as scanned.

I'm not usually a fan of extreme angles in photography, in fact sometimes it outright annoys me (mainly when someone looks at a building and goes, "thats nice but it'd look much better horizontal" ) however I like it on this one. The framing of the pillars on the outsides of the image really help to give a sense of scale....I'd love to see a version of this from further out so I can understand what I'm looking at a bit better, i.e. whats the temple like inside where its situated...good pic though :)
