Photographer’s Note

All people visiting Bangkok, know the river Chao Phraya, and I believe most arrange a cruise along it and take pictures of the famous canals called " Klongs ". But here we were on the main course and watching the variety of scenes along the river. At one moment I discovered two buildings which caught my eye, and waited a bit so that the boat would advance until they would be aligned.

lovely architectural juxtaposition here. The tample is placed well in the frame and the background is superb in its claustrophobia and graphism.

The contrasting architectural styles have made for an interesting image here Izzet, and I like how you've completely filled the background with the facade of the modern building.

Very good old/new contrast here, Izzet. I like your tight framing, not introducing anything else in the frame to distract from the two buildings. Nice to have this pagoda precisely against the middle of the right half, a classic framing!

Hello Izzet - only the eye of an expert can create a work of art out of an ugly apartment complex, the pagoda is perfectly positioned to give the ideal balance of graphism and culture.

J'aime beaucoup cette photo mais je n'aimerais pas vraiment habiter dans ces immeubles.
Mais tout le monde n'a pas le choix.
Le contraste entre ces 2 bâtiments est étonnant.
