Photographer’s Note
Akha hill tribe woman photographed in northern Thailand in the hills of Chiang Rai. This tribe originates from Tibet and in Thailand they are one of the poorest of the hill tribes, lifing on marginal land making it difficult to eke out a living through their slash and burn method of agriculture.
The headdress this woman is wearing was incredibly ornate, covered with coins from the Victorian era.

I think the ornate headdress is due to what ever is being smoked in the pipe. It also is bad on teeth. Good photo, harsh light coming in on right side but handled ok in your shot.
