Bangkok has quite a number of nightmarkets. The Suan-Lum Night Bazaar is fairly new so one would probably not find it in most guide books. The night bazaar has two sections: streets and alleys with shops and a dining/entertainment area with a stage.
This photo was taking in the dining area where a concert was being held on stage (behind me). The photo was taken around 23.30. Counters on the left served food and drinks.
This bazaar is less crowded than other (night) markets since it's fairly new and is located at the intersection of Wireless road (Witthayu) and Rama IV road and is opposite of Lumphini park.
Note: Sharpening and cropping of top part of the original to remove the vast black space. No further adjustments.
The dimly lit spots on top right of the photo are part of the construction of the roof, which can be closed.

nice place for shooting, i wish the foreground was not so empty - waiting for people to come colser would help. anyway, the exposure is great - a lot of details seen, light not blown out. technically very good, but artistically just ok ;)
