Photographer’s Note
This photo is taken on the 13th of April which is the the day to mark the last day of the year. So it is also the first day of the New Year celebration festival called Songkran.Wikipedia about Songkran
In Ao Nang the day started so that the beach road was transformed into one way street and all the people were equipped with waterpistols or bukets and basically it was a huge water-splasing day. The road was filled with pickup trucks, many of them carrying 2-300 litre waterbarrels and 7 people emptying them on passerby.
It was so much fun... My only concern was not to completely wet my camera :)
