Photographer’s Note
A fallen "spire" from a stupa located in (I believe) Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Ayutthaya.
While double-checking my terminology on stupa, chedi, etc. I discovered that in fact chedi is simply a Thai name for a stupa. I don't want to duplicate information here, but head over to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stupa if you're interested in finding out more :)
