Photographer's Note

Standing amidst the chaos of voices, colors and people in a market in Bangkapi (Bangkok), was this cute little boy. Everyone was unaware of my presence except him. He was an elusive subject and it took me 6 shots to finally get him in focus. It was well-worth the wait. He finally glanced at me and I captured an innocent stare. I succeeded. Now I have seen part of what the future of the world will be through him.

Auto-adjustment, increased saturation, unsharp mask and lighting filter.

This is really great, Manny. Such a cute boy and such an innocent look. The colorful backgrount of fruits and vegetables is very interesting and gives a hint about the boy's life and future. Very very well captured. Excellent job.

Manny, I no longer even have to look at the captions of the thumbnail. The composition, colors, subject ... and those eyes that you always seem to capture with a special expression ... is so distinctive Librodo ... you no longer can't mistake it.

nice! a small kid giving a really big look. the composition is superb, and there a lot of circles in the scene - baskets, oranges, scales, coins.. and are those coins for sale too?
and it is so easy to pick out your pictures from the gallery. good work again.

I must say, Manny, that this is one of your very good children's portraits. The colours are beautiful. The expression of the boy is so fresh. This is what you get from living close to the market. This is a favorite.

A beautiful portrait of innocence. The boy is nicely positioned, surrounded by the different coloured fruit and vegetables.

Oh wow. Again all the innocence of a child captured in this single picture. I think the position you took this from is very effective, as it makes the boy turn his head and look up. Wonderfully framed with all the colorful produce that is on sale at the market. Great stuff, Manny.

A healthy Thia babe; I love that this image is near perfect and then one can see the daily life of a half eaten orange and scattering of foods to be placed back in the container. We learn young!

Excelent composition! Very busy and crowded, but the boy presence is so intense that the background doesn't interphere, and by the contrary add a lot of interesting details.

The different fruits makes the pic very attractive but the good composition it is the merit of the boy. I do not know why your persons they all have some special expression on the face, like they are all surprised when you shoted them.

another great shot/ the future tenant of his father's shop...heritage it is called... but yet so innocent! I love the shot and the atmosphere. Dof is excellent as usual! the kid is kind of asking : "What can I do for you today?".

Hie Manny, you have all the ingredients; the produces, the plastic container/money register,the weighing machine and the wonderment of a little boy, looking up.His stance looked attentive toward his responsibility except his off side glance at you. Life is a lot like the little boy...forward looking but mindful of what is around him.
