Photographer’s Note
This was taken in Bangkok, Thailand. If anybody's ever been to Bangkok, Buddha is usually wrapped in Gold leaf, solid Gold, Emerald Gold, etc.
This guy was sitting all by himself in a park, away from it all.
I just love the serenity and raw feeling of this sculpture and the setting. I hope you like it too.

Hi Anu,
Nice portrait like shot of Buddha. The color of the cloths are good. The back support of bricks where plaster is dropped is proving it is being neglected from followers. The background tree is giving a pleasant effect to the Buddha.

Hi Anuradha garu,
I made the following changes to your wonderful photograph of Lord Buddha.
1. Cropped the photograph.
2. Added soft focus using google's free software picasa (www.picasa.com)
I thought the soft focus of the surroundings gives the impression of an aura of enlightenment of Buddha.
Hope you like it.
