Last week, our school observed the Spirit Week. Our students came in costume according to the theme. This is Stella. Though she was only pretending as a character in one of the space movies, her appearance that day actually is the kind that we can see everywhere.
She did pose for me. But how many similar appearances can we see roaming in our streets.
Stella is a good actress. She gave me a look that beg for questions. Do we have the answers?

Stella looks lovely. She has that mysterious look about her, not unlike that of Mona Lisa. You can't help but wonder what she was thinking when you were taking her picture.

Hi Manny, excellent image, with a wondeful and soft b/w, great light on the face, a fantastic view on the eye and the same your wonderful mood of shadows!

Great shot. The B&W works wonders here. The composition is great and we have to give lots of credit to Stella for the pose.
It looks like she is peering into your heart, trying to see if you are really who you claim to be...

Le jeu de lumière et d'ombre est très très bien géré et donne une photo incroable.
Le regard est percant et impressionannt.
Très bon cadrage également.

agerrard (338) 2005-10-03 23:04
An intriging photo. The eye of the viewer is immediately drawn to the eye of the subject. Nice work!
kclai (2267) 2005-10-03 23:56
This is truely a B&W image. Everything is but Black and White in color. You gave the softness to the hand while hardness to the scraf she's wearing.
Galmeida (12559) 2005-10-04 3:40
Great B&W option, a intelligent Stella girl actress but not the last excelent picture you take the least you are I think also like a self-portrait in the pupil eye of the girl. I'm wrong ;??? It could be my imagination working, but real or not this Eye and her face expression is a must.
Very well done, splendid work and very well seen by both!
OBRIGADO and thwe best to you.
ropetko (0) 2005-10-04 3:56
I knew you will darken her! :)
Still, this is a very good portrait and she is obviously a very good actress.
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind. Face of a woman hides many secrets no man can ever answer.
Take care Manny, see you!

Wow, Great portrait!
Focus is right on the eye. Did you post-process the eye seperately? Anyway, the result is wonderful. High contrast works very well. Thanks for sharing.
