Photographer’s Note

Drivetime... shot from the back of a moving tuk-tuk I was using as fast transportation to get around all of the beautiful ruined temple sights in and around Ayutthaya. I was sat in the back with the driver's beautiful little girl and together we were spending the time waving at all of the people going by.

I find it pretty hard to take moving shots (especially from the back of a bumpy tuk-tuk!) and this one is no exception. It's cropped a little too close at the top, bottom and right-hand side and, to make things worse, the bright headlamp (it was just beginning to turn dark) fooled my light meter. But that's what I like about this shot... the slightly washed out colours, the over-brightness of the headlamp and the somewhat funny composition -- it's just like dusk!

Minimal PP -- I didn't want to mess with the colours too much, saturation is left as-is although I increased the contrast a little.
