A Karen hill tribe woman weaving in a little mountain village in the region of Chiang Mai.
Weaving is a centuries-old tradition in the Karen tribes and an important way for them to get some money.
If we visit some markets in the region, like the one in Chiang Rai, we can find a wide variety of handloomed bags, shirts, skirts, dresses and lots of things they make with their looms.

Très beau rendu des couleurs de l'mage de cette tisseuse.Son sourire est bien figé et je pense que cette dame doit aimer son travail.

Hello Ana. A photo from the world of work, but also a wonderful and colorful portrait. The friendly woman at the loom is very likable.

a charming portrait from this working women. Her smile so winning.
The picture is pin sharp and clear with great deep saturated colors, then there is just enough movement in her hands to show that she is working.
have a good sunday

J'ai eu le plaisir de visiter cet endroit.J'aime beaucoup leur artisanat. J'aime le sourire de cette dame qui prend la pose pour les touristes qui font vivre le village. Ma conjointe a encore son sac à main de cet endroit.

This woman has a stuning smile, and looks to be very happy, and very proud of her work. The selection of colours in both her clothing and her surroundings make this very special. Special mention to the green bandana which stands out beautifully!
All the best

Good shot of the Karen weaver. These hill tribes have now been 'conditioned' to pose doing work for tourists, properly dressed up in traditional attire...its almost like a 'human zoo' I felt...what did you feel?
The portrait is nicely done with the BG of clothes well represented..
