Ice is a major ingredient in the daily supplies for the fishing boats here at Bang Saray! Here as the sun sets, the men are loading these large blocks onto the conveyer that raises them into the crusher and then down into the hold of the ship.

Hello Steve - Super daily life story going on here. I like the way the highlights in the ice block echo with the white areas in the camouflage pants and the rim of the wheel. Somehow these elements come together for me. The shot had a real sense of "work" and I like that. Best regards Rosemary

Hello Steve,
A rather peculiar picture, or rather a peculiar atmosphere created by the block of ice in an unlikely tropical setting during this very blue hour. There is good action in the movements of the three men to the right and the left leg on the man at the back. And that triangular cloud is impressive.

Superb exposure, use of fill-flash is really exquisite. it creates a feel of ice perfectly, and makes a balance of light between the shining clouds and the foreground.

the light is superb, carving the figures into the scene, the movements of each provide good dynamics, and even a narrative for this scene at dusk. I immensely regret the uncompletness of the framing/composition, for me, as the figure on the left is cut off, and IMO, this could have only worked if he had been, for example, staring at you.

I like the way how u influence viewers into the frame with effective use of the dramatic cloud. Views hover between this and the action in the foreground.
