Photographer’s Note
My sixth posting in my series on the 'Phuket Vegetarian Festival'.
In all honesty, I have pretty much run out of notes to add onto this festival, however I urge you to check out the previous shots featured in the theme (starting with the first one of course) for more information on this amazing festival.
All the best,
- Dan

Hey, I like this ne, is no less gruesome than the previous ones but has everything essential in the frame. I was honestly under the impression daggers like this only existed in cartoons. The lack of eye contact and the distracting shoulder strap on the right do diminish the appeal of the image somewhat, but in a journalistic image like this obviously not all elements are under the control of the photographer. It is interesting that the bleeding is rather limited.

So bizzare!!! Isn't it a bit exagerated? But intersting and I would love to see this myself. Btw. this guy is cute and I would never think that he is able to do that. Great shot.
