Continuing in my Muay Thai series, some may be surprised to see two women in the ring for what some may call a 'brutal' sport, but female Muay Thai fighters are quite common. As a matter of fact, I have a lady friend who takes part in Muay Thai (needless to say, you don't want to get on her bad side ;-)

This bout saw a 50yr old American woman with a background in the martial arts who was in Phuket to get certified as a Muay Thai Fighter against a young 15yr old fighter. As the fighters entered the ring this definitely did not seem like an even match, however the young lady really showed some experience and gave the larger westerner a challenge. No doubt, it was one of the more interesting bouts of the evening!

There's been some suggestion for me to go full black and white vs. the semi desaturation I have been presenting. I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts so I have posted the same image in B&W as a workshop here.
