Photographer’s Note
Wat Phra Si Sanphet was built by King Boromatrailokanat in 1448. It was supposedly one of the grandest temples in the ancient capital, and it is still one of the best preserved on the island.
The three bell-shaped chedis of Wat Phra Si Sanphet have become a symbol of Ayutthaya.
This photo was taken from some ruined buildings (that used to be part of the complex) beside the Wat.
I have posted a WS with the inside of the window sharpened.

Great shot, Wendy. It is almost like looking at a framed painting. Good colours and contrast.

That's a great frame you've found for this subject Wendy. And very good choice of a wide depth of field, to keep all (pretty much) in focus. Nice shot. I planning on staying there in April, be glad of accommodation and resturuant tips.

Hi Wendy, it's a beautifully well composed photo, the framing is perfect, I was about to write about the lack of sharpness but the I saw the WS and it's definitely the version I prefer. Very good photo of a place I visited too, but sadly I did not discover this window...
