Photographer’s Note
Amphawa, almost a suburb of Samut Songkhram, remains very much a canal oriented place, with many people using boats as there everyday form of transport, and much of the daily life centre around the canals. It also has a wealth of well maintained original teak houses, earning it a UNESCO heritage award last year.

Hi Richard
What a beautiful atmospheric shot despite the luck of sunshine! The reflections are very nice, it could be even better if you had included the full reflection of the boat. You have visited the place during monsoon which explains the lack of sun. What so ever I like the shot a lot,it is moody and has a lot of character. The color saturation is as high as the sharpness. Well done
Best regards
Urs
