Photographer’s Note
Petchabun is a province to the North of Bangkok. In the south it is flat, rich, rice growing land, (part of the Great Plane of Korat) but to the North West it is mountainous. During the 2nd world war and after, during the communist insurrection, guerillas hid up for years in these mountains. Here, at Wang Pong, a forest temple glistens on a mountainside. It looked a tempting place to visit, but it was too far off the road, up rugged tracks and we didn't have time. Still, I fancy it must be a peaceful and remote place. Maybe I will find time to visit next time.

Hi Kevin
I like the vibrant colors, the sharp details and the well built compo with good use of the coconut tree to frame the left side... The place in itself looks real nice with the beautiful looking temple on the hill...
Greetings from Chiang Mai (i ve just been out to Tachileik in Myanmar for visa renewal and they only give 15 days now if entering Thailand by land...)
