Hello again after a loooooong break I made here ...
I'm active on TL and TN - now I decided to be change again to TE to see all your interesting shots of our wonderful world.

We still have winter here in the South of Germany, so I decided to present a sunny shot of the hot Bangkok.
It was made right at my birthday last year - it realy was a perfect day ...
Look at that sky, the fluffy clouds - and that impressive temple.

That is one of the most beautiful temples in Bangkok, the Marble-Temple, Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram Ratchaworawihan, Thai: วัดเบญจมบพิตร ดุสิตวนาราม ราชวรวิหาร.
It is a Buddhist temple in the Dusit district of Bangkok.

Construction of the temple began in 1899 at the request of King Chulalongkorn after building his palace nearby. The temple's name literally means the Temple of the fifth King located nearby Dusit Palace. It was designed by Prince Naris, a half-brother of the king, and is built of Italian marble.

Inside the Ordination Hall (Ubosot) is a Sukhothai-style Buddha statue named Phra Buddhajinaraja, cast in 1920 after the original located in Wat Mahathat in Phitsanulok. The ashes of King Chulalongkorn are buried beneath the statue. In the gallery surrounding the ordination hall are 52 buddha statues, collected by Prince Damrong Rajanubhab for his king.

Hello Sabine,

I like the symmetry of the composition!
I also notice the fine light that renders such rich colours, impeccable sharpness in the architectural details.....
Nice to see you here my friend, and I'm sad to hear about the problems in TrekNature! I wonder if they will ever learn to administer sites like this..?

Fast perfekte Symmetrie hätten die Wolken mitgespielt. Das ist sehr schöne Tempel in Bangkok. Das Wetter war wie wir sehen perfekt für Besichtungen.
Foto technisch wie gewöhnt –sehr gut.

Hi Wishnu,

The point of view leads our eyes toward the marble temple. It is also allowing us to see the details and colors of the architecture of the temple. The good light is enhancing the colors of the scenery. The picture is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.

I have a very similar shot of the Marble temple, in my gallery. I never get sick of Thailand. Been there 26 times now, & there's always something different to see. Good sharpness, colour & contrast. Perhaps a very slight ccw rotation? Tfs!

Hallo Sabine,
welcome back! Ich war auch längere Zeit nicht aktiv. Das Bild ist hervorragend. Bei dieser Symmetrie ist eine Zentralperspektive angebracht. Ich habe aber das Gefühl das Gebäude neigt sich leicht nach rechts.

one perfect day for a perfect photo. I like a lot the colors and the extraordinary sky. the inclusion of a person would have helped in the sense of the scale, perfect note too.

Ja ,ich hatte leider keine grose reisen gehabt und ich kann diese schone gebaude nur so anschauen und when es so schon in wahrheit ist wie an dein foto ,dan lonte sich jedes pfening den du bezalt hast dort hin zu gehen.
