Photographer’s Note
'Ko Tao' is Thai for 'Turtle Island'. It is the premier diving resort, in the tropical waters of the Gulf of Thailand off the coastal city of Chumpon.
This is taken from the beach in front of the guesthouse I stayed in (Tommy Dive Resort), just before Sai Ri Beach.
Coconut Trees & sandy beaches with fringing coral reefs line the shore. Fishing boats in the background provide fresh seafood for the evening meals. More info on Thai resorts here:

J'adore tes photos exotiques, elles me font découvrir ces coins où je n'irai peut-être jamais mais qui me font rêver.
Prédominence du vert, ajoutée ?
Merci de les partager avec nous.

Waw Chris a shot of Thailand, a excellent place for holiday, in Flemish Belgium now 5° Celsius this very cool, the great stones and the lovely sail yacht together with the mountain and the palm trees, lovely place over there.

I like the way the rocks in the foreground anchor the shot. Beautiful water colour again, and the mountain has an attractive symmetrical shape. Nicely composed shot Chris.

Excellent framing Chris with the big rocks in the foreground adding a lot of interest to the composition. Colors are very pleasant and the contrast of the mountain in the background against the sky and the sea very effective!

I haven't been there Chris and your pictures are prompting me to go there. The big boulders in the foreground is a good way to frame this shot.

Hi Chris, yet another nice landscape, good to add the small harbour to the nice beach and I do like too to include these foreground rocks, one of my favorite photos looks a bit like this but is on a slide and i still need to find out how to scan it appropriately !

The inclusion of the distinctively shaped rocks in the foreground is vital to establish the amount of perspective that is actually in this photo. Another beautiful beach in nice tropical colors, with the boats at the right adding a delightful interest. Good shot, Chris.

Bel endroit avec beaucoup d'animation me semble t'il.
Ce que j'apprécie ici c'est cette profondeur sur l'infini qui est très nette et donne une bonne sensation de grandeur.
Bien vu Jules

must've been velvia, so deeply colored. I'm looking at this one from my stepfather's new LCD monitor: super crisp. very nice.

Great place! The use of the rocks in the foreground is very well seen, especcialy because they form a diagonal pointing to the background which makes a good reading of the photo.
The colors are nice even if there's some fade in the hill.
