Hi Chris, this photo has come up well. The lighting is good and the colours are quite different. The palm trees look rather dark and I wish I could see them better. But where would the rocks in the water have come from? Fallen down from on high or...?

A nice beach with a small perspectiv eleading to the rising trees, what's the plus here are the clouds which by their shape bring that extra touch of dynamism I like here.

I like the point of view very much of your composition. It has a strong contrast: the dark silhouette of the palms and the well highlighted rocks. The blue sky and the green color of the ocean. A very well composed and colourful shot of this beach area. Great contrast in colour between the water and sand, and the large rocks almost appear sculptored by the wind and waves. A delightful paradise, though I note your comment about the heat and humidity. Well framed and cropped for high impact. Well done. I want to be there!

Hi Chris, This is a nice paradise scene here. I like your composition to show the clear water, sandy beach, clear sky and the palm tree. The area under the palm tree is a little too dark showing in my screen. However, I do like the show with beautiful color and the beautiful composition.

Hi Chris - the water looks so alluring, even though it is probably too warm to be refreshing. The coconut trees and the boulders make a great composition, difficult light though, the tree parts look black on my monitor.

Hi Chris. I think you've found paradise again. You have good exposure balance between the ground and sky. I might have lightened the shadows over the dark areas of the trees. Nice one Chris.

More tropical magic! Even though the sky does not have that usual deep blue, it is perhaps even more interesting like this, giving layers of texture to the shot. The rocks make an interesting contrast with the smooth sand as well. Great work!

How nice to see this shot, while it's raining a lot in Lisbon. It remembers me a similar one I have from an island in Malasya.
