Photographer's Note
Don Sak is a small town with two attraction, the well known ferry port to Kho Samui and the idyllic but unknown bay of Don Sak. Actually there are two ferry port, one for the passengers, a very modern complex, and the old fashioned passenger & car ferry port some 10 minutes by car from the new passenger terminal. The old ferry pier is next to the picturesque bay, where the water quality must be pretty bad due to the ferries some 500 meter away.

Hello Urs,
As usual, you've given us a good geography lesson. The old rusty scupper does not look seaworthy, but maybe it just needs a new coat of paint. The waters are so very deep in this area, however, not that it matters.
Warm regards,
Bulent

They use a lot of ferries in the Philippines to travel between several islands, this reminds me of them. I like the use of the pier to frame the boat. Sharp details and wonderful colors. Very well done, tfs.

Hello Urs,
Very good that the forground is independently
with the boat: that makes the picture nice
calmness and give the boat "his freedom".
The diagonal lines creates a nice depth and
light management is also very good.
Friendly regards,
Robert
