A detailed shot of the busy harbourside setting in Ranong. This is the departure point for 'Victoria Point' in nearby Myanmar (Burma). There are usually several Burmese boats & many Burmese people at this harbour. I liked the repetition of the boats on a diagonal.

Hi Chris,
Very nice composition of these boats. The repetition of the boats on a diagonal really works well! I like the detail of the guy preparing to take the photo, squating down. Thank you for sharing,
All the best,
Ricardo

This is a lively daily life pic. nobody noticed u, so u get the natural looking shot. Well done.

Nice photo from the harbor, Chris, the combination of the multiple diagonally aligned boats and the busy activity surrounding them makes for an engaging viewing. I guess a tighter crop focusing more on the graphism of the boats could work equally well.

Hi Chris,
Excellent capture of the busy harbour life!I like the tight framing and the view along the boats, the included people add life and context.Beautiful light and colors!
greetings,
hermann

Hi Chris

Superb view of this typic asian harbour, the graphism by the boat is very good especially on the foreground.
The light is very hard and give a great mood.
cheers
greg

So much colourful activity! Great lines of the boats - as you mention, the diagonals are very effective. I like the wedge of water which provides a pocket of calm in the midst of all the action.

the angle and composition are very good
the activities, the boats all are well captured
very well done

Busy is the right word for this place it seems. I find these boats fascinating and I always enjoy pictures of them.
A good colorful image.

Hey Chris. I agree that the harbor is busy indeed. The shot is on the busy side itself but the repeating boats add order to the composition. Once again the scan turned out well. Good shot Chris.

great shot of the busy life here, I like the kid crouching and selling his good, very good composition, well done

I also like the repeating theme of the boats, especially on the diagonal. The crowded conditions are communicated very well, with the boats crammed right in there, and lots of people about. Great work!

Bonjour Chris,
Des bateaux qui grouillent, des diagonales qui renforcent la composition. Un lieu étonnant à regarder les moteurs (pas très jeunes) équipés d'une curieuse hélice. Merci de nous faire partager ces photos étranges.
Amitiés.
Philippe

Hi Chris,
I think the lady to the righthand very very awkward toward the boat step. The repetition of the boats on a diagonal really works well, apparently a very busy day. Excellent sharp and clear picture Chris.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Chris, A nice shot of the details of the boats and the busy port. I like the color contrast and the repetition patterns of the boats and inside of the boats. You have done a good job to get the nice contract out of the sunny daylight.

Nice, very nice, with boats graphically in lively colors and I like the diagonally concentrated the lines to a corner, very well composed and you had a great POV here, too,Chris,a fine daily life shot,

Best
M

Looks like a fascinating place. Lots of activity and lovely traditional boats. Have you been back recently?

Hi Chris

Nice sample photo of the local colors on these boats. I like how you put in your frame these boats in a row. Nice work on lighting. Good work.

very nice one Chris,
the coloufull composition is taken from a good point, a point where you made the depth bigger, good job,

So much activity here, Chris. The diagonal arrangement does this picture, as you say. Wonderful colorful scene. The rough scan majes it look a bit old, and I like it this way.

Hi Chris
This is nice, the fuzy life of this harbour with a good angle for the diagonal lining of the boats and all those people in it, like it a lot.
