What a great expression on the young boys face. The girl on the right looks good too, although it is too bad you didn't(probably couldn't, given the circumstances I am guessing) use a smaller aperture to bring her more into focus, but what is sharp here certainly is what is important. I am unsure whether the guy in the background adds to, or detracts from the shot overall, but I think for me it looks better because of him. Overall, just a little too tightly cropped on the left, but a really good shot.

Great expression. I like this one. I agree that the cropping is a bit too tight on the left and better DOF would help, but it is still a great picture.

Great picture. I love it. I don't mind the tight cropping or the DOF, the expression on that little boy's face is so cute. And probably his mother beside him who is so proud as well as his father behind, even blurred we can see him smile. Life is not perfect but so full of joy sometimes, such as this picture.

Wonderful, as usual.
To Darren and those who critisize DOF and comp. Not that I believe in holy cows etc, but Adi is a hard professional working for one of the most popular Israely weekly magazines, and she enjoys full command of the technique. She is also a merciless judge of her own works. What I am trying to say here is that she knows pretty wellwhat she is doing and why and IMHO we should try and understand why she is doing it this way and not another.

(About cropping: this crop gives the pic an infomal look in keeping with the boy's expression - a fleeting moment, gone in an instant. In other words, this wasn't a formal portrait, and there's no reason to lok fore te attributes of a formal portrait. The moment is all).

Haha, I love that kid's expression!

Very good composition with a lot of expression and a good use of focus. The framing could be a bit better(to much cropped from the left , to less cropped from the right) so I give it 1 point(otherwise 2!!)

very good triangle of people, all tending towards the grin of the little boy. very lively and happy pix.
