Photographer’s Note
Recently I was invited by Thai Embassy in Stockholm on a trip to Thailand with visits to hospitals and Spas in Phuket and Bangkok. On one of the wonderful spas I saw myself face-to-face with silk worms. They are used for not only making silk fabric, but also for beauty treatments. For instance, we were treated with beauty masks made of silk worms. Sounds cruel, but not more cruel than eating fish or meat or wearing silk fabric, in fact. And Thai Spas are simply wonderful, I can assure you.

Privet, Monica,
Very interesting note and good shot. I never eat the worms in Thailand, but it is interesting experience, I think.
Thailand is beauty country, nice people, and culture, and cookies, and amusements.
TFS!

Along with reading the note, i was trying to imagine how i would feel wearing such a mask...unimaginable.
