Thailand's railway network mostly is limited to single tracks and there almost is no electrification of the railway lines. Thailand's railway still relays on turbo diesel locomotive like this one pulling a passenger train at the Southern Thailand railway station of Phattalung, a General Electic GE 4001. As a result rail travel is not fast in the kingdom.

Railways talk always to the imagination, you chose an excellent angle this gives much perspective and depth to the picture.
Many decoration details of the train suit excellent in these composition.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice week,

very well composed train with the signal bar at right of frame. Nice light. Nicely saturated colours. Interesting to see a train pulled by diesel engine now a days. Thank you for sharing.
Have a nice week.

a nice snapshot and a good reportage shot from the railway of Thailand that in combination with the informative note make the scene more cogently.

This is an interesting documentary, accompanied by an informative note!
Strong perspective and fine lines, the yellow colour stands out...
I notice the engine has seen some year, and I get the impression rail transport is no priority in the country..!
