[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture I did on my favorite island in the Andaman sea called KOh Jum, an island almost forgotten by the mass tourism which has overflown the neighbouring island of KOh Phi PHi. When you are entering the boat to KOh Lanta and KOh Jum you can see hordes and hordes of teenage tourists entering another boat heading up for Phi-Phi island which is famous for its scenery after the movie the beach with Leonardo di Cabriolet... For me (maybe I am a little bit too old now) it will be horror to stay on such a now spoilt place, so I decide again (as 4 years before) not to enter Phi-Phi and instead of this I stayed for some days on Koh Jum (they don't even have electricity on this island)...
By the way the island you can see here in the sunset is Koh Phi-Phi :)) which is some km away from Koh Jum.

Some technical aspects:
NOT with my wide angle zoom!!!
I used my 75-300 at 300mm together with a sunset filter (makes it more orange than normal

hello Daniel
a very nice sunset on Koh Phiphi. The colors are wonderful!Congratulations for this.
Your note is also very interesting, and now I feel sorry not to have gone to this island.I went to Koh Phiphi 17 years ago,and it was magic. We were alone.I came back here last year, and now the water is not so clear, and I was a little bit disappointed. But,in august,it's OK,not to much people.Thank you very much for your beautiful photo.
Pascale
