This is a beautiful neck but i must say, i got a sore neck just looking at. This face tells a 1000 stories - you are so right. She does look sad - i wonder what was on her mind.

Cute girl, but sad to see that they still use these heavy metal rings to prolong the girls necks! Actually it's the ribcase that's being pushed down and not the neck that's being prolonged! Besides these "Longnecked" people are from Burma and are being brought into Thailand and held against their will in "special tourist villages",by greedy tour operators to be shown to and photographed by naive tourists for money!
So no wonder that she looks sad!
Photo could have been cropped to emphasize on the girls face and some more light added!
