Lampang

Photographer's Note

Also taken in the market of Lampang, this time on the opposite side - the light and the colours were different here.
I was watching the electricity meters on the column in background and taking a few photos. Suddenly, the young seller noticed what I was looking at and she started making a pose and saying "Very beautiful, very beautiful!". My interest on such thing really amused her and I spent some nice moments with them there!
Lampang is one of the most important cities in the North of Thailand, but I guess most part of the tourists stop there mainly to visit the temples. I visited this indoor market by the end of the afternoon and I found almost no tourists at all. The place was full of locals and life, as many people were going there to buy their food.

En voyant les plateaux de nourriture, on oublie l'installation électrique. Une photo pleine de gaité et amusante. J'aime bien la présentation avec de merveilleuses couleurs.

Hello Ana,

Thumbs up for this photo, and to the friendly merchants. I like Thai food very much, but I have not tried it on the streets and indoor markets. The presence of locals is the best recommendation for any culinary establishment.

We can see here the good spirit and mood you find all over Thailand, once you leave the main tourist spots...! And also the prices tend to be lower too... 25 cents for a dish is ok!
Good general quality too.

dedico a te questa mia prima critica della giornata, non essendomi stato possibile farlo ieri sera, ed in particolare a questa bella foto nella quale traspare tutta la gioia di vivire delle due venditrici che sorridono gioiose per la tua presenza.
Ma è anche una bella foto per la ricchezza dei colori che il banco ed il mercato stesso offrono e tu ne hai approfittato per fare uno scatto nel quale la nitidezza, la saturazione, il contrasto, ma soprattutto la composizione sono di ottimo livello.
Buone anche le note che accompagnano la foto

Looks pretty real colorful market where the splash of red is the most influential element drawing my eye. So much detail of the display offers as strong elements too and I feel that you've definitiely caught the feel of the atmosphere very well. The lady in welcoming manner steals the show taken at the crucial time and thumb up as they she reciprocates with sweet smiles. One look that speaks volumes! Excellent street shot and tx for sharing..

Are those deepfried shrimps on sale here, I am not sure but in any case Thai food is so good that just looking at this picture my mouth is watering.
