Photographer’s Note

The temple of Doi Suthep on a hill 15km. above Chiang Mai is an interesting place to visit. The temple itself is quite beautiful, you get nice views on the city below, and you can see some tribal people too, as it is an important temple. But what I like most there are the dancers... They were there every time I visited the place... These two were particularly cute and the colorful tribal clothes looked quite exotic...
They are part of a kind of association raising funds for local children education...

Le temple de Doi Suthep, environ 15km. au dessus de Chiang Mai, est assez intéressant... En plus d'être très beau, il est souvent visite par les gens des tribus environnantes et on a de belles vue sur la ville en contrebas. Mais, ce qui me plaît le plus ce sont les petites danseuses qui s'y produisent presque tous les jours... Celles ci étaient particulièrement mignonnes et leurs habits colorés bien exotiques...
Elles font partie d'une sorte d'association qui récoltent des fonds pour l'éducation des enfants locaux...

Il est tout simplement superbe ce portrait bien réalisé et riche en couleurs. Tu as appuyé sur le clic au bon moment pour restituer l'air serein et un peu frondeur de la petite danseuse.

Hi Laurent, The clarity you achive with the 400D is something many of us only strive for. The girl's hand in front of her face would normally curtail the image, but it throws our sight to the supporting subject. The colours and sharpness are exceptional. TFS. Murray.
