a hint of spring, a photo from Chiang Mai, North

Photographer's Note

unfortunately my camera took a fall from the tripod and is in for reparation, so for the time being I have to resolve to my stock photos.

Here we have the statue of a Buddha in a public parc in the city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand with some beautiful tulips in the foreground that give a hint of spring to the scene.

Over here spring is still some weeks away, although today I spotted the first crocuses in our garden

un colpo fortunato questa bella fotografia notevole per la composizione ricca di colori per la successione dei fiori, ma anche splendida grazie alla posizione della statua che sembra essere viva ai piedi dell'albero.
In questa ci sono tutti i colori dell'oriente e puoi essere ben fiero di averla scattata.
Ottima anche la tecnica di ripresa con nitidezza, luminosità e contrasto più che buoni e indovinato il taglio verticale che dà slancio alla composizione.

Hello Daniel,

Oh, I am sorry to hear about your camera - I hope that you get it repaired quickly and without too much expense!

But it is nice to revisit some older photographs and sometimes (as in this case) we can find some wonderful treasures. In fact, you have been sitting on this beautiful photograph for over two years!

This is a simply and beautifully composed photograph with the most lovely soft lighting. The statue of Buddha is perfectly and centrally placed in the frame and almost glows in the soft light beneath the tree. And what a reamrkable foreground - hundreds of beautiful and different coloured tulips make a fabulously colourful foreground.

Beautiful colours, perfect light, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.

This is a really delightful shot. The light hitting the many colours of flower is superb, and you could not have chosen a better composition. The golden statue looks excellent against the natural colours in the scene, and the statue looks almost to be smiling at the color and life that spring is bringing back to its garden.
The gnarled tree is another fantastic addition. Really beautiful shot, thanks

Dear Daniel,

On very rare occasions do we get a composition featuring tulips with the Buddha. This is a lovely and well composed shot - the Buddha seems to be in serenity with his surroundings. Lovely colours of Spring !
