Photographer’s Note
Taken at the port of Koh Chang on my way to another island named Koh Wai.
You will notice that most boats in Thailand feature this type of ribbon decoration on the prow, as it brings good luck.
Taken in raw at 1/250s,F11,iso200.

Hi Jon,
I find there are two many things in the composition and it makes it a little charged, but the light and the colours are very beautiful, and that's what caught my attention !

Hello Jon,
The light is really incredible. The calmness of the water makes it practically a mirror and the result is these wonderful reflections. Beautiful view on the background. Well done!

Jon,
This is a nice shot taken under great lighting. Your composition is fine using the reflection to create depth and balance. The colors are good and the photo is sharp.

Hi Jon
Lovely bright saturated colours which stand out even better in this pretty light. The form of the clouds seems to add depth.

Hello John ,
A fantastic composition , with beautiful contrasted colors . The reflection in the green water is superb . The clouds in the sky provide a dynamic effect . Mayb that the boats are a little overexposed ?

Hi Jon,
very young gallery but what a superb quality! Fantastic photos on highest level, you surely know what you are doing. :) Every single photo with carefully chosen angle, superbly managed light, fantastic colours and ambients...well just about everything fits perfectly. Since it is impossible to choose the favourite one i decided to start with your latest post which has everything mentioned before and has some nostalgia for me as it reminds me of a painting class in college (we went to sea painting boats with watercolour technic). Simply wonderful, my compliments!
