I know that this B+W experimenting is getting out of hand, but i just thought i wanted to show my latest conversion, i promise i will try to find a couple of color shots after this one.
It was taken on my first trip to Thailand after the China job, and it is from a beach outside Rayong, not that far from Bangkok (one of the nearest if you want to avoid too many tourists)
I have uploaded the original as a workshop on pboehringer's request

A very well balanced B&W. Beautiful composition and light. I would prefer though a white frame. But that´s a matter of taste. Very well done Harry

Hi there Harry!
I see you're really enjoying the conversion of your photos. I think it's a good idea. This one is surely a different vision of Thailand.I really like the way you're presenting this nice beach with the little boats and the typical wooden houses under a stormy sky. Great work indeed!

Why stop when the results are so beautiful? This is a great black & white conversion, because it really has a lot of contrast and wonderful tones. Most of the time when I see a conversion from digital to B&W it comes out bland, but not this one! Great work!

Hi Harry. The glowing highlights against the deeper tones give this a surreal look which suits the image well.

That is a beautiful b&w, very artistic. I say carry on. Superb

Harry, This is just amazing, easily one of the best photographs I have seen for a while. Though it looks more like a painting to me than a photograph! I think b and w is a medium that more people should experiment with and can yield more interesting results with contrast. Thanks for sharing, Regards Michelle

You made a great work here in this B&W photo. Is very dificult nature photos in B&W. The boats are lovely.

here is another gorgeous PP manipulated picture and it seems that you're achieving an overall approval from the TE community, including mine. However, try also to be diverse. You already showed us that this technique works wonders. It would be interesting to add the original picture as a WS so I could appreciate better the PP result, besides it is always nice to see the original anyway.

The PP works with non-industrial subject too. It's even getting always better ! Unique mood. Impressive, strong and... inspired.

Harry, if you're producing stunning B&W shots like this don't apologise and don't stop! This is beautiful with perfect contrasts and sharpness. It's well composed with the boats in the foreground and the huts beyond. The threatening clouds just add to the atmosphere and I must say I prefer it to the colour version. A superb shot my friend, well done.

Harry, you are a little liar ;). You promised to upload more than one colour photo after this :D.
Excellent work! I`m impressed what you can achieve from an average photo. I try sometimes to convert my images to b&w, but I have no such an abilities to do it in a perfect way.
I love this painting and add to my favourites.
