hallo all,
it's taken at about 7 am.in the canal's branched from "chaopraya river".
if who have a chance to come to thailand,it shouldn't to miss this experience.the cruising along the canal in bangkok is fantastic.you can see the thai daily life in the thai way.it's real.
you can take the boat at "tha chang pier".it's cheap because the boat is the plublic transport.
this photo you can see the electric pole in the water that confirm,the canal is the ordinary way of the people in this place,as if it's the road on the ground. the man was starting his life in the morning.

Long time, no see, it's good to have you back.
These colourful (and sadly noisy and smoky also :-) boats are really eye catching and I wonder how many hundreds of shots I would do if I returned to Bangkok with a digital camera. It's a vivid scene, very well captured and with a good clarity and DOF.
I only find the poles on the right a bit disturbing and redundant. I did a WS in which I had them cropped.

An interesting maritime detail has been captured!
Those engines are not common around my place, and I'm surprised to see how large it is for the comparatively small vessel...
Accurate focus and a well composed presentation, rich colours!

What a colorful boat, and an excellent composition. I have seen these boats in movies, with a powerful motor providing the power to the propeller at an oblique angle. Roger Moore in the 20 year old James Bond film, "Man with a Golden Gun," comes to mind. Warm regards,
