Wat Chai Wattanaram.
Built in 1630 it was conceived as a replica of an Angkorian temple similar to that of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. It may have been built to commemorate the King’s victory over Thailand’s neighbour.

This is one of prangs situated alongside the main tower containing over 100 beheaded Buddha images. A thai friend told me that when the Burmese bombed the palace, they also beheaded the various buddha images within the grounds as a sign of disrespect towards the Thais.

You can see the less saturated version in my WS. Let me know which one is better.

Bonjour Miguel

Saludos.
Sonsoles.

Very interesting place, like the tilt.

Hi Miguel!

Many are the values of this photo, I don't know where to start from! First of all a daring, original and very impressive perspective! Great dynamic composition and fantastic warm colours! I like the saturated version! Congratulations!

G'day Miguel,
I love the fiery colors in this. I try to avoid tilted views, but I think it really works here. I love the detail, clarity and red texture in the bricks.
Rob.

Hello Miguel, I like this version better IMO it shows up the beautiful colours in the brickwork more & they are worthy of that. A beautiful & interesting structure very well captured, I don't usually like tilted images but this looks pretty good.
Thanks
Santo

Miguel,
certainly an interesting way to frame this building, but not necessarily my personal taste. That doens't mean that I don't like it and appreciate your work on this post. The composition with the statues in the right foreground leading to the tower is excellent and contributes for another good shot in your grwoing gallery.
Peter

why is your last post deleted miguel, it was real good one... i have just seen your gallery and i am impressed indeed... i like the tilt in this one and the very vivid colour palette... kkep going pal, you are really good in photography...
my compliments
