Photographer’s Note
The Siamese Crocodile is a freshwater crocodile native to Indonesia, (Borneo and possibly Java), Brunei, East Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Burma, Thailand, and Vietnam. The species is highly endangered and already extirpated from many regions.
In the wild they prefer slow moving waters like swamps, rivers, and some lakes. Most adults do not exceed 3 m (10 ft) in length, although there are hybrids in captivity that can grow much larger.
Due to excessive hunting and habitat loss this crocodile is a critically endangered species. That's why many crocodile farms in Thailand were located. To conserve these species while they can make profit from crocodile trade and tourist attraction.
For this crocodile in Bueng Chawak;one of the famous tourist attraction in Suphanburi. It's quite happy .Among 60 friends in the pond that was set environment similar to the wild, nothing to worry just eat, swim , come up to to take a nap and somtime play the show with their nurse.
From the believe that the crocodile can be practised, the dinosaur lineages are now dveloped........... to be the pets.

Hi Chandhima,
Lovely vertical presentation of this ancient beast seen in all his craggy sharp details. He stands out well against the lush green.
Regards, Tom

Bonjour, Chandhima,
Philippe
